Amarillo High’s greatness is not due to it’s football program…but it is one of the great traditions at the school. Former players value the band, the drama, the speech, the choir, orchestra, and all the other athletic teams associated with the greatest high school in the nation. From academics to the extra-curricular, we produce excellence in every field.

Football is the arena in which we represented the Golden Sandstorm to a watching world…or maybe state…or at least a city. We want all Sandies to be as grateful for their role (as a part) to help create one of the greatest high school bodies of all time.
